CEL comes on and goes into limp mode (won't go over 2800 RPM). Turn the ignition off and back on, and it goes out of limp mode but usually comes back on soon. Got the P2646 code (as a result of a check engine light and VSA lights) Oil screen was nasty. Cleaned with carb cleaner and problem fixxed. About 10K ago, I got the triple play of check engine and VSA lights and limp mode, Replaced the VTEC spool valve assembly with a (should have known better) aftermarket part. Flash forward to last week, about 7K miles later, same thing, deja vu.Then the mechanic gets ill,stroke, he is now back at his shop, Element is put back toghther but mechanic now says engine is reving and he is getting following codes, PO507,P2279,P2646.
