Short answer: Pick what you like. there is no useless or hated class in the game. Anything you pick you will be able to play any content the game offers. I'm really enjoying soloing them. One class that I'm already playing is Striker - I'm really enjoying it for group play and PvP, but I find it a little frustrating to use in solo due to lack of overall push immunities and over reliance on back attacksdeadeye is the most fun class in the game hands down, it made every other class boring to me, it's really not a hard class if you already a late game player. class rewards you for playing good, does big damage, shotgun is satisfying af, you are so mobile feels like you do whatever you want playing around the boss. most engaging gameplay in the ...In Lost Ark, when you play for the first time, you have to do a 'tutorial' 1-10 levels. After you finish tutorial once, all the classes you create next, you can skip tutorial and start at level 10 straight. On top of that, when you skip tutorial, you get into a zone where you test a class with a lot of skills unlocked. Therefore in aspects alone, I would rather play the Deadeye, but I am not a fan of the shotgun, hug the boss playstyle. Fun class tho as any other in the game. Gunslinger can be another good choice, though you're squishy, you have plenty of mobility, and your range on snipe can help you get uptime on mechanics. Zerker: because i love the PvE and PvP (non swirl, swirl is boring) Style of this class, high CC, high dmg, longer animations, high CDs, every skill counts but in zerker even more. An important thing to remember is that gunlancer scales extremely well with engravings, especially blue lancer - since your shield is basically always up (if you have specialization & time your shout right) a lot of the negatives to engravings are basically negligible. Gunlancer is a dps class just like the rest. Deathblade is really fun. I feel like I'm playing a Bayonetta/DMC type of game where I try to go for the most stylish kills possible without letting the enemies touch the ground. Also the skills just flow really well together. It's a lot less "assassin" than I was expecting, but it's still really fun. Honorable mentions are Paladin and Sorc. Probably gunslinger. Seems super fun and engaging, and has a skill ceiling high enough that you can sink time into and constantly get better. I never really played dps in most MMOs since I like being invited to parties.
