340i downpipe and tune

Recently purchased a 2018 340i and want to do some basic bolt-ons like exhaust, downpipe and tune. But I still have a CPO warranty until October of 2023 and I don't want to void that if I ever need it. What are my options for tuning the car and installing a high-flow catted downpipe while not getting in trouble at the dealership lol. The 335i with the N55 engine offers 300hp and 300tq while the 340i comes in at 320hp and 330tq. For power, if you don't plan on tuning then don't waste your time with a downpipe. You're not going to notice much aside from throttle response and a deeper note/louder burbles. If you were going to tune then I would say a downpipe is 100% worth it.The boost level settings of a Stage2 tune are too high for the back pressure generated by the resistance of the stock downpipe. The Stage2 tune tells the turbo to spin faster to a point where that stock back pressure can damage the turbo. A catless downpipe has emissions issues depending on your state's requirements. (cold start is just supposed to head up the catalytic filter in the downpipe, so that’s why it’s commonly removed after catless downpipe installation.)e.
