I wish I had gone with the Smoke hand guard at a custom length. The two nut clamp on the Faxon just gets in the way of a mag well grip, but it's just nitpicking. It was never installed on my rifle, I ultimately decided to special order one from them a little longer for my application. Smoke Composites does excellent work, this is a very nice piece.
